Conteno is a Belgian based designer and manufacturer of Containerized Packing Solutions, serving liquid and semi liquid products.

Mobile Water Bottling Plants : Aquacontainer
Packed in self sufficient 20 or 40 ft ISO containers, Conteno has developed innovative and versatile custom built PET bottle factories for safe still water with capacities varying between 20 000 litres a day up to 100 000 litres a day. PET bottle sizes vary between 0.2 to 10 litres.

The containers can be delivered with internal (some smaller systems that can be build in) or external purification systems depending on the water quality on site ; have dedicated generators and compressors on board allowing to operate these factories regardless the availability of local power sources and at any location worldwide.

Operating principle Aquacontainer (WBP)
Produce PET bottles and fill them starting from very simple and lightweight PET preforms. The machines are fully automated, simple of design allowing operation with little trained personnel. Operations can be started in less than 1 hour upon arrival on site.

Large quantities of PET preforms are poured into the container on one end from where an automatic conveyor transports them to a blowing machine in which the preforms are blown into the final bottle shape. After blowing, the bottles are filled with safe potable water in a special filling compartment which operates under positive air pressure preventing contamination from outside. In the same compartment and after filling, the bottles are capped and sealed.

At 4 different levels UV treatment is being applied, eliminating all germs, bacteria and fungi and assure the safety of the potable water.
