Invictus Games

MTD is proud to be the sole water partner for the Invictus Games The Hague 2020. The 5th Invictus Games are the first international multisport games project for MTD in 2022.

The Invictus Games are an international sporting event for military personnel and veterans injured psychologically or physically during their military service. The event was conceived by Britain’s Prince Harry and was first hosted in London in 2014. This year, The Hague, the Netherlands, is organizing the event. About five hundred participants from almost twenty countries come to the political capital of the Netherlands to participate in ten sports. The event will be held from April 16th until 22nd in Zuider Park, The Hague. The park is freely accessible for visiting and enjoying different activities and entertainment.

MTD worked for three weeks with two technicians to supply, install and connect:
💧 Potable and wastewater buffer;
💧 4 big kitchens; Crew & Media, Broadcast and Nations Home;
💧 8 vacuum toilet clusters;
💧 Backstage sanitary;
💧 Food courts;
💧 Sanitary and handwash facilities for activation programs by Boeing and the Ministry of Defence;
💧 18x PHIL bottle refill stations.

MTD also connected all water facilities like hospitality and sanitary for the Jaguar/Land Rover activation program, where visitors can show their driving skills on a circuit.
MTD would like to thank TIG Sports and Backbone International for working together. Hopefully, everyone involved will enjoy this as much as we do!
